“Airport Quality” – Meets Federal Specification TT-1325 Type 1, High quality reflective glass beads. These beads offer superior performance and durability due to their extremely smooth surfaces, greater than 95 % roundness and less than 1% air inclusions. Size 12-30 US mesh, 600-1700 Microns. These are larger than our standard DOT beads. These beads meet all state and federal requirements for traffic marking. Uses include parking lot, traffic marking and airport striping, signs, arts, crafts, painting and more. Beads are Type 1 with moisture control coating with a refractive index of 1.51. All our beads should be applied on the surface of any binder, paint or adhesive. Mixing reflective glass beads into any medium even clear will greatly reduce reflectivity. Beads are Type 1 with a refractive index of > 1.51. Shipped in a resealable bag.
